Unique tips for Herbal Cosmetics that can be made at home

It is not at all important that you waste money on expensive cosmetics when u can use herbs at home to achieve a better glowing skin and healthy hair. Most of the herbs or other natural products can be found within the house and this can help save your time and money.

Homemade shampoo: take 300 gm of the following three ingredients and mash them together:

 Rheetay, amlay and some branches of seeka kae

Add this powder to 2 kilos of water and boil it for 30 minutes. When this mixture cools down, stain it and store it in a bottle to use it as a shampoo.

A mud mask for pores on the face:

One spoon of multani mitti, one spoon Upton and a few drops of lemon. If your skin is dry then don’t use lemon. Mix all these things together and apply it on the face and then wash after 20 minutes. Using this mask everyday helps reduce pores and also lightens any spots on the face.

Enhancing your eyelashes: take both honey and castor oil in equal amount and before sleeping at night apply this to your lashes. Your lashes will thicken and become longer.

To get rid of wrinkles:  take olive oil and almond oil in equal amount and apply it on your face at night before going to sleep. This tip is trusted and is from an old book.

To get rid of spots on the face: Pores and pimples on the face can lead to deep scarring and to cure that use equal amount of pumpkin oil and almond oil. This heals the scars of chicken pox too but the condition is that you have to use it daily.

 To lighten dark complexion: use charwanji which can be bought from people who sell herbs and spices and mash it after adding it in milk. After warming this mixture store it and use it at night and wash it in the morning with a good soap.

To make your lips pink naturally: mash saffron into minute pieces and add some of the powder to cream and use it at night. After some days your lips will becomes pink naturally. Also the vegetable known as beet (chukandar) can be used to make lips red after it is rubbed. Slices of beet can be used to cure scratches on the lips too.

To get long hair: soak imli in water overnight and use this water to wash your hair in the morning.do this for one week and along with this massage your head with coconut or almond oil.

To cure itchiness between fingers of the feet: after a very long walk your feet start to itch when sweat accumulates in them and to cure this elders suggest that rub a piece of onion on your feet in such a way that the liquid of the onion soaks into your feet followed by washing it with cold water.

Lice in hair and patkari (ALUM): add patkari in water and when it is fully mixed use that water to wash your hair. This helps cure lice more than any shampoo or soap.

For fitness: in the market there are a number of medicines that promote fitness and weight loss. Everyone wants to get smart without doing any effort but this is simply not possible and so to attain fitness one needs to work out and if this workout is paired with the following green tea then there can be much better results in terms of staying fit.

Take green tea leaves one teaspoon along with one lemon and honey according to taste. Using this in both summers and winters can help you stay fit.

To cure the pain of joints: the following oil can be made at home and this can be helpful in curing pain of the joints:

Huwas-shafi: take the water of ginger: 500 grams, along with oil of sesame seeds 500 grams. Add this together to get a mixture and heat this mixture until you get only the oil left. Preserve this oil to use it on joints.

Shehrazi qahwa:

This qahwa cannot be bought from the market but it is instead made from things that are present in the kitchen. This can be proven as a great tonic for keeping one fit.

Huwas-shafi: badyaan khatai:2 grams, laung two, poodina 1 gram, dar cheeni 1 gram,chooti illaichi 2, bari illachi 1. Preserve all these after mixing and mashing them and boil it in water to get qahwa. This qahwa is best for digestion and nerves. Along with this it helps in clearing the nasal passage way and cures pain in the chest. Fast heartbeat, gas, indigestion, chest ache, drowsiness, flu, excess urination, paralysis and pneumonia etc.it cures nasiyan too and helps refresh the taste of the mouth.
