It is a summary of monthly lecture of Hazrat Hakeem Tariq (M.D.). Largenumber of people attendsit; lecture was of about two hours.
Hazart Sheikh Muhammad was eight when he left for pursuit of knowledge. He saw towards his mother with eyes saying goodbye. Mother also said goodbye along with her prayers. And she advised him that, “son, see me last time now. Perhaps this will be our last meeting and said not to come back without taking Quran in your chest.”
When Hazrat Sheikh reached to his mentor and explained point of his coming, mentor said, “Son, it is good that you have travelled a long way just to seek knowledge. But I cannot provide food to you. How shall I feed you?” Sheikh Sahib replied, “I have brought dry breads with me and I shall be able to manage with that.” All day he used to read Holy Quran and in evening he used to go to Dajla River and eat his bread by soaking it in water and then thanked God.
When he became Hafiz and came back to Baghdad in his house. He knocked on door but nobody replied. After knocking for a long time, neighbor lady opened her door and said, “Boy, you are very late, your mother has passed away. Immediately he went to his mother’s grave and started reciting Holy Quran. Before Fajar (morning) prayer he recited the whole Quran to his mother and prayed, “O Allah, I fulfilled my mother’s wish and now I wish that You Almighty God enlighten the graves of my parents with goodness of Quran.”
Next day he saw his parents that they are sitting on a large throne. His mother said, “because of your prayer God almighty has enlightened my and your father’s grave with Quran’s goodness.
Hazrat Ali Hajwari used to say that one knowledge is Kasbi and one is Wahbi which God Almighty bestows.
