A Simple Rule

The more information a person has, the more success he collects. And the more information comes to a man who is always in quest of knowing more.

An american woman artist born in 1925 once told a simple rule to become a successful artist. This rule, however, is not only for becoming a successful artist but stands valid for anyone who wants to be successful in any walk of life. That simple rule is “see more, be more.” Curiosity is the soul of every success. One must always strive to see more, listen more, question more, learn more and enhance one’s information. The more information a person has, the more success he collects. And the more information comes to a man who is always in quest of knowing more. Many people remain ignorant to their ignorance and yet believe that they know all. This attitude is fatal because a foolish person starts considering himself a scholar. He considers himself a wise person when actually being stupid. Such a person maintains no worth in the eyes of rest of the world but in his eyes alone.

The best thing is when a person always considers himself a student who never gets tired exploring, discovering new things. And the happiest moment for a person should be the that when he comes across a new piece of information. The person knowing more will grow more because an increase in knowledge compels a man to act more. Knowledge makes a man extraordinary. There is no limit to information in this world and so is for addition to the knowledge. One must consider himself the one who knows nothing so that one’s urge to know more never gets quenched.
