Ataa Arzaq’s wife gave him two Dirhams to buy flour. On his way to the market, he saw a slave who was crying. When he enquired the reason, the salve replied that his master had given him 2 Dirhams for shopping which he has lost and that now his master will punish him. Hazrat gave him the 2 Dirhams he had and continued praying to Almighty till evening. He kept waiting in the hope to get something. But when he got nothing, he went to a friend’s shop who was a carpenter. He gave him a Khora (crib) and said that you may use it for burning when you need to heat your oven. He took that crib in his bag and went to home. He threw that bag in the house from the entrance and went to the mosque for prayers. After offering prayers, he stayed at the mosque for quite long so that his family goes to sleep and does not quarrel with him. When he came back, he saw that they were making bread. He asked: ‘From where did you get the flour?’ They replied that ‘ It is from your bag which you brought from the market. You should always buy from the same person from whom you have bought today.’ He replied: ‘Insha Allah I will do so.’
