They follow some big animals. There speed needs to be seen when they are following their prey. They follow the animal with full speed with their tongues sticking out and unless the prey gets exhausted and falls they don’t let go of him

Wolf is one of the most ancient animals of the planet. According to animal scientist, it is actually a wild dog which grew up in size while living in the forests and desert. We find details of wolf in ancient stories and legends. It has been presented in the form of cleverness, slyness and ferociousness which actually means that man considers him his enemy and has been scared of it. His thirst for blood and of terror stories are found in every language. Even though it has been proved through research of science that it isn’t so much of a dangerous animal the way it has been famous for.

One man who had studied the nature and ways of wolves in Poland and Russia once told that a lot of people travel on sledges which slide on the ice and none have been ever attacked by the wolves. Although it has been seen that wolves follow them in packs of 10 or 20 but that is not for attacking them rather for the greed that that these people might stay for some time and after that wolves will get their left over as food.

Wolf is usually found in Asia, Africa, America and Europe. We find white colour wolf in Antarctica. It is also very much different in colour, size and shape. Its size has been observed from 5 to 7 feet. Female is quite small in size from male. The fur of wolf is soft; filled with hair and is slightly black & brown but other than these we also find complete red, black, khaki and white wolves. They can easily hunt down animals of double size from their own. It has been often seen that wolves kill horse, antelope and deer. Their teeth are extremely long and sharp. With which they tear the animals from limb to limb. Wolf never comes out alone rather they come out in a group of 10 or 15. They follow some big animal. There speed needs to be seen when they are following their prey. They follow the animal with full speed with their tongues sticking out and unless the prey gets exhausted and falls they don’t let go of him.

This is a true fact that they eat up each other but this incident happens if they don’t find food after search or get trapped in caves due to rain or snowfall. Then they attack each other after becoming desperate for food. Then strong wolves eat up weak ones.

Wolf becomes mature at age of four. And when male selects a female they spend whole life with it and doesn’t allow any other animal to come near her. The female gives birth to children between December to April. Pregnancy is of 63 days after which she gives birth to cubs in a number of 4 to 14. The interesting thing is that all wolves in the herd protect young ones.

According to observation and views of researchers, wolves are used to roaming around in an area of vast lands. Sometimes they circle 50 miles in a day. The path which they go through they never forget it. Usually thy come out of their dens at night and especially in moony night and roam around all night long.
