It was a morning of summer and door was open. Like a beggar, a woman came inside. By her accent and persona she looked like from Multan. I gave her two rupees and she replied “you are giving me two rupees, for the same reason you are not being well now days.”I felt it true as I was not feeling well those days. I gave her five rupees and she was happy to receive it. She said, “My beggar is pleased with you tell me what to pray for you.”I replied, “Pray for me to perform pilgrimage of Holy Kaaba.” She asked me to bring a thread and said, “I shall read on it.” I gave her a thread. She started knotting on it. And said your husband is very cruel, he beats you and causes fight in home. Then she started telling me everything of my home as if she lives with me. I thought she is a true saint. At the same time my dish washer woman was sitting there. She said, “This lady asked for charity from a nearby house and they refused rudely and she cursed them and their young son died getting by being stuck in the water motor. My younger son was of three years and was playing close by. I was afraid then. When she was done with knotting, she asked me to hold it in my fist and go inside and get money equal to the price of Quran Majeed. I went inside and brought out 500 rupees and gave her. She asked me to open my hand.
At that time thread had five knots. She asked me to close my hand again to see if knots increased or decreased when opened again. If knots increase on opening hand, your coming days would be pleasant. But if knots have decreased on opening hand,your coming days would be difficult and full of misery. I was getting afraid more by this woman now. But I was surprised why my dish washer lady remained silent on it. At last I opened my fist and started counting knots. I felt like something black passed in front of my eyes. On counting, knots increased from 5 to 21. That beggar lady congratulated me. Then I was speechless. I tried but could not say a word. I had no idea what she had done. I was like her slave. My mind was shouting but tongue was not helping me. I was totally in her control. Then she showed her real intentions. She asked me to go inside and get 40,000 rupees from cabinet. I kept sitting there. Then she shouted, “go and get me money otherwise I shall read and everything of yours will be ashes. I acted accordingly. I went inside, got her money. She said this would be your alum. Now go and place this thread in Holy Quran and it will become 50,000 rupees by tomorrow. Along with this she said, “If you tell anybody about it, you will be dumb, and she left.”
My husband was out of home at that time. After 15 to 20 minutes I regained my senses and thought what I have done. That lady had ruined me. I called my husband and asked him to come home instantly. He came and I told him that I have lost all your savings. That money was deposit of someone with him. My husband tried to find that lady but by then she had left our area. Then my husband became upset and asked me to leave home. Some elder people of town settled it down.
Till today I could not get what sort of knowledge that lady had. My request to all readers is that do not trust such fraudulent saints. Also do not let such saints come into home. Now my dish washer lady was involved into this or not. I have no idea, only God knows that but you ought not to trust such people and instead of them, Trust your GOD.
