SECRETS OF EARNING ABROAD STATE OF MY HEART WHAT I SAW,
It was yesterday… A man, rather a collection of worries and pain, came moaning to me. He could not sit on the floor. He requested to sit on the chair. As soon as he came, he said that I have been working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the past 26-years. Now my kidneys have failed, I am a heart-patient, cannot take even few steps, my brain has stopped working, there is a constant deterioration in my condition, my body has water-retention. I have lost hope with this life; cannot eat even few bites. I am on dialysis; do you have any treatment for me??? I was staring at his face with worry. Similar sad stories started circling in front of me; in my heart and mind. Whoever returns from these oil-states i.e. the countries of Middle-East; be their stay duration 4, 24 or 34 years, I have not met anyone who does not have these 5 diseases. First: Earned millions but either it finished during his life or soon after his death. Second: Children became disobedient, rebellious, and incomplete in regard of education. Third: Illegitimate relation of wife or them suffering from some disease; her cranky attitude or her counting last days due to different ailments. Fourth: Himself suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, tension, heart-disease, stomach ailments etc. Fifth: Earned and gave money to someone who either wasted it or ran off with it; faced embezzled, fraud, cheating, or his own children ruined it. I observe these five problems common with such people. Some might not face five; maybe two of them. When such grief-stricken people visit me, it saddens my heart. I was asking a villager about his condition. He said that he is in Middle East since 17 years. He shared the some worries. I asked his opinion for the reason. He said, “The only thing which seems the answer to me is the one which I have heard from a great scholar of Haram. He told that who leave their weeping wives and live abroad for years, there they suffer from diseases and ailments due to brutality on their selves. The money they earn is sharian doubtful’. I was taken aback…… The illiterate man said, “We work hard and earn; how can that be doubtful??? But soon I got my answer in his speech and that was that the money earned after wasting the rights of wives and children, that money can never be halal and of barkat.” I was shocked to listen to what the illiterate man was saying. A big scholar of Haram cannot say anything extra canonical. Aalims can do more research but the reason he has given of leaving their wives and children weeping; I can relate to it as some pious and veiled women who cannot share their conditions hand me a note, from which the writhing note of their desires and wishes leads to the tears flowing from their eyes and my hand automatically goes towards the tissue box. After writing about the murder of their desires they share the stories of their children that now my son and daughter have chosen their paths and the whole home has broken apart. Their youth, engulfed in desires and ended in old-age. That is a separate turmoil and this is the new tension of children. Day before yesterday a couple visited me. The man said that I am residing in Japan since last 17 years. I visit Pakistan after every few years; stay with my wife and children for few weeks and then depart. What answer will they give to Allah on the Day of Judgment? Who is responsible for the vulgarity and dilemmas of family life created by them? Readers! Kindly answer my question and send me similar writhing stories; am I wrong in my judgment?
