The strange world of rats and their intelligence AfraSiyaab Khan; Peshawar
What used to happen was that there were 2 3 brave kind of mouse who used to reach that rope with which
a bag used to hang. They used to do that by climbing on the sacks placed in the store. After that they used the rope to enter into the bag and for the enjoyment and taste of the family they used to drop the eggs on the ground.
Once upon a time there was a miser and he had a lot of rats. One day he had a mouse trap installed and instead of putting a real piece of cheese he got a paper photo of cheese taken from a newspaper clipping when he checked the mouse trap next day, there was no mice in it however there was a picture of a mouse taken from a newspaper placed in the mouse trap.
One animal scientist when he was researching on rats , during that time a friend of his sent him olive oil which was of fine quality.oil was enclosed in bottles. During that time that scientist had to go away for a couple of months. He locked the store and went away. When he came back after a few days he was surprised to see that out of all bottles almost half of olive oil was gone. When he researched this mysterious thief he found out that it has all been done by mice.
What happened was that first the mice saw the oil and gnawed through the corks of bottle but because the mouth of bottle was very narrow so they couldn’t reach oil. So they came up with an excellent plan. They put their tail in the bottle and when it got socked with oil they used to take it out and lick it clean then repeat the procedure till the oil in bottles was left only half. But after that since their tail couldn’t reach the oil in the bottle they had to leave that work.
Let’s also discuss another animal scientist. He had to face a strange dilemma due to these mice. This guy had a lot of chicken and to keep the eggs safe, he had a bag hung from the roof of the room with a rope.
Whatever eggs he used to get from the chickens he used to put those in that bag. And after four or five days of accumulation he used to use them. However he was surprised that the number of eggs instead of was declining. He thought it was work of a new servant he had hired so he summoned him and threatened him and accused him of stealing but when the new servant swore that he was innocent and he had no idea of the thief, then this scientist decided to apprehend the thief red handed.
With that intention in his mind he sat in a corner of the room silently. He was very silent and kept his eyes on the door. Suddenly two eggs jumped and fell on the ground with a thud he was still surprised and unable to understand it when suddenly from the different corners of the room a lot of mice appeared and started to lick the eggs clean o that so they didn’t leave a single grain of the shells on the ground.
What used to happen was that two or three brave kind of mice used to climb up the sacks placed in the store and using the rope of the bag hung from the roof enter into bag and just for the taste of their family they dropped the eggs on the ground.
Even though mouse is known for its common cowardly behavior however it has been seen a lot of time that when it gets used to a human being and if he is taught something then it learns that.
Queens University Kingston in department of pharmacology a professor while discussing the effects of poison on animals told a research association that behavior of mice is very standardized in some manners. He told that just because of love and affection the mice get comfortable with people. One of the workers, a girl had named every mouse and when she used to call them with love and affection they used to come running up to her without any hesitation.
Due to this love and affection there was seen an effect that when these mice were poisoned by this girl not only they happily drunk it just because of it only 20% of mice were killed. Since other mice didn’t believe that they could be poisoned by that girl, they remained alive just because of their will power. However when this poison was given by another worker who was unknown to the mice and the poison was of same amount then 80 % of mice were killed instantly
