This was the time when a policeman enters in our village, all mothers used to hide their sons so that police will not catch them and the whole area will be shattered. Maulvi Sahib got scared by suddenly arriving two policemen.
This incident is about 1959. Maulive allah bakhs and his son gulam rasool used to run a shop. This grocery shop was the largest in the whole area. Maulvi allah bakhsh used to work sincerely besides worshipping regularly. Every year, calculating the wealth, used to extract zakat and distribute it to needy.
One day both father and son were dealing in the shop that two soldiers came suddenly. It was the time when a policeman enters in our village, mothers hide their children so that police might not catch and the whole area will be shattered. Maulvi Sahib got scared to find two policemen. This is how the conversation happened with them.
Policemen: Maulana Sahib, what is your name?
Mulana Sahib: I am called allah bakhsh.
Policemen: Who is the second man in the shop?
Maulana Sahib: He is my son, ghulam rasool.
Policemen: maulana sahib, are some of your goods stolen?
Maulana Sahib: No, with the grace of ALLAH Almighty nothing is stolen.
Policemen: Please check carefully if something is stolen.
Maulana Sahib: (after checking the shop) nothing is stolen.
Policemen: Check your jewelry, gold, and silver from home.
Maulana sahib goes home and opens the jewelry and gold silver box. The box is empty. All the jewelry, gold silver is missing. He got scared and say to the policemen in sense of trouble that my 20 tola gold, 55 tola silver, and all jewelry is missing.
Policemen: Maula Sahib, please tell us the position of jewelry?
Maulana Sahib: My gold, silver and daughters' jewelry is missing. Only an empty box is there.
Policemen: Can you describe the details of the stolen goods and signs of identity?
Maulana sahib told the details and the policemen get satisfied and put his stolen goods in front of him. Request him to call local Nambardar.
How did you get these goods?
In his presence and identity, we return your lost goods. Nambardar sahib comes and writes that Maulana sahib received such lots in my presence and make him sign the recovery. Policemen do not receive any reward, do not ask for rent and prepare to go.
Maulana Sahib asked the details to the policemen that how did they get this good. Policemen tell that your thief stole at Jhang Sadar after this event and caught red-handed. I did what was stolen in Haveli.
The thief tells all the stolen goods and admits and tells that the stolen goods, from maulana allah bakhsh's home at Lal Haveli, is in the right condition. Police asks for those goods. Police incharge assigns duty to two policemen that go there and check if the Maulana sahib really has stolen goods then return him. Maulana Sahib thanks Allah that he pays zakat every year. Allah sent my goods back to my home, the one I did not even have news and nor any FIR.
