Spending Ramadan in Tasbeeh Khana

Ladies may also spend this Ramadan 2019 in Tasbeeh Khana in an exclusive secluded building.

Respected Hazrat Hakeem Sahib, Asalam Alaikum! In last Ramadan when I would receive Ubqari Twitter messages that fortunate Muslim brothers were spending Ramadan in Tasbeeh Khana, I would wish for the same; of spending Ramadan in Tasbeeh Khana.

Finally, I received a message from Ubqari that women also can spend last ten days of Ramadan in Tasbeeh Khana. I was much happy reading that message but was sure on the other hand that my family would not allow me to spend Ramadan there as I stitch clothes in Ramadan for whole of my family. Financial conditions of the family did not allow getting those clothes stitched from the market. Then I hit upon a plan and thought of performing a spiritual practice which was once told in a Thursday weekly lecture.

I started reciting Darood Shareef thrice in the beginning and at end, Surah Al Fatiha with Bismillah thrice, Surah Al Ikhlas with Bismillah thrice and entrusting the spiritual reward to my parents. Then one day I mustered courage and told my father that this year Ubqari has also arranged for the women to spend last ten days in Tasbeeh Khana in Ramadan. My father turned his head in a certain manner that I understood that I will never be allowed to spend Ramadan in Tasbeeh Khana. I kept on entrusting the spiritual reward of this spiritual practice to my parents.

Then, one day, I expressed my mother that I wanted to spend Ramadan in Tasbeeh Khana. My mother after casting a surprised glance over me said, “Yes! You must go. It is a good thing.” I exclaimed in joy. I could not believe my mother saying this. I started packing for my ten-day stay in Tasbeeh Khana and kept on wondering that how my mother had permitted me to go in these peak days of household work when the Eid was also approaching. I knew that it had just happened by the virtue of that spiritual practice, as my mother was very much rigid in such matters.

On twenty-first day of Ramadan I was in Tasbeeh Khana. I spent nine days of the holy month of Ramadan there. There is a huge difference between the first twenty days of Ramadan spent in home and last ten days spent in Tasbeeh Khana. Those ten days schooled and groomed me and changed my personality. I learnt forbearance. I would get angry when other people would use my things but in Tasbeeh Khana, I learnt to extend things to others. An old motherly woman was my companion. She would take liberty of taking my cushion and sleep over that. Sometimes she would ask for and sometimes she would take for granted. Another problem was that women would comb their hair on beds. This not only covered beds with longs hair but sometimes hair would also be discovered from the meal. I would feel bad for this in every Suhoor and Iftar but put up with this for Allah’s love. I partook in the Khidmat (service); washed utensils etc. Some elderly women would scold me exploiting their elderly age. A woman scolded me for no reason and surprisingly I reacted with a smile. Had it been happened in my house, I would have smashed her. However, I had changed. I had learnt patience. I felt good serving in Tasbeeh Khana. I wish that I be chosen for this service and continue with steadfastness, to the best of my abilities. I learnt love for Hazrat Hakeem Sahib’s lectures. I learnt to speak politely. I must tell that the prayers offered in Tasbeeh Khana are being answered. I am feeling the blessings, peace that I have sought in my prayers. God willing, I will spend every Ramadan in Tasbeeh Khana.

Now I am sharing some of the spiritual practices that I have experienced. I once read a tonic on Ubqari’s Facebook page for improving eyesight. Those who use spectacles may recite one rosary of یا بصیر to improve their eyesight. My brother who is 34 now once fell in the drainage line and got his eyesight affected. He could not even read a half page as his eyes would start watering. He recited this holy name of Almighty Allah for three days and got his eyesight improved.

He had once stopped talking. He would remain preoccupied. Upon mother’s insistence, he told that he had happened to cross over a certain place or thing. I performed the spiritual practice of calling Adhan and of reciting last four verses of Surah Al-Mominoon twice a day for three days. Third day when I had performed the spiritual practice and had come out of his room, I saw a tall smart, swift man coming out of his room.

Cardiac muscles of my mother would contract, and she would feel very uneasy. One day she felt pain in her chest with her pupils turned white. She started begging everyone to forgive her. I performed this very spiritual practice of calling Adhan and reciting the last four verses of Surah Al-Mominoon. To this, she settled in a while.

Got rid of spectacles: Muscles of eyes had become weak nine years ago. Someone told me to recite یا نور for five hundred times and blow on the fingertips and to rub on eyes. My eyes are strong since then. One of my friends would use spectacles. She performed this spiritual practice and got rid of spectacles.

Last five surahs and Tasmiah while setting on journey: Reciting last five Surahs with Tasmiah recited in the beginning and reciting Tasmiah after Surah Al Nas makes journey comfortable and safe.

My niece gets frightened at night and starts weeping. She doesn’t open her eyes and keep weeping. My sister then calls Adhan and the baby gets comforted and sleep again.
