Hakeem sahib Asslam o alikum I served Pakistan Army for 32 years. In this duration there were ups and downs and a lot of incidents on border happened. I am spending a life of retired solider and whenever I sit in solitude and I take tea on terrace and the memories of past glories come then there come tears in my eyes and smile on my face. The life of army is such a full of glory this only can be known by the army members. Once we are appointed to the border Azad Kashmir’s hilly place. There we were fighting against life taking abyss and terrible animal. There are such abysses; if someone fells in them then his even his bones will be founded. Because when someone falls in it on pointed and stony hills then his body becomes pieces and the one who escapes he is eaten by animals. After some days there fell by slipping a boy i.e. R. K of our group into that and nobody knew that he had fallen. When he remained absent for a long time, everybody became curious and we searched him here and there in jangle but could not find him. We assume that he has flown back. Our officer ordered to find him on bus stops and at such places. We searched him everywhere on the exiting places but hopeless. Everybody was worried that where has he gone? From his post to headquarter everybody was searching for him but he was not found. After tiredness we stopped searching for him and all slept after thinking to contact his family next morning. Next morning one of the young men of our group was just walking and he saw a skin color thing in a deep down place. He told us quickly. We went there and saw with binocular that there is man down there. By a lot of methodologies we sent our group members to go down they reached there after hours. after the struggle of half day we took him up to us but all were astonished to see that his body was all fine, even it went down by hitting many hilly places and in a such jungle where are many dangerous animals like snakes, wolfs and scorpion and Panthers . They did not even touch him. and in such a cold where bold can be frizzed in some seconds and he was out for one and a half day in open sky but still he was breathing. He was sent to CMH Rawalpindi through Helicopter. After a little treatment he came back into senses, some of his bones were broken almost after the treatment of one year he was present in Unit. Alhamdolillah! That young man spent the rest of his life in the security of Pakistan. And nowadays he is spending a successful life. I am not disclosing his name due to his request. Whenever I remember this incident the word SubhaanAllah comes out of my mouth. That Allah Almighty cares so much about a young man who serves the land of the pure. May Allah always keep our Pakistan army triumphant like this always. Aameen, sum Aameen!
