Prayer of Prophet (PBUH) that created lamentation on skies
Some days ago Hazrat respected Hakeem (D, b) delivered a complete lecture on the topic of Taif’s supplication and its wonders. On public demand we are going to publish that prayer with full translation.
Once Hazrat Aisha (R.a) asked Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ did you face more painful day than “uhad”. Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ said, yes Aisha (R.a)! The day of Taif was harder than uhud.
If we see the incident of Taif with passion and feelings it will shock us. Even a stone-hearted man will be affected. Just imagine king of both worlds and the cause of this universe went to taif to tell the true message of Allah to the people who were heading to hell because of lust. There was not any personal desire or benefit but he was full of love, affection and care for that people. He wished that people of Taif become worshippers of Allah and they get success. But in return of this good deed what they did, imagining it shatters the heart. After so many wounds and injuries Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ prayed with humbleness and modesty and painful heart to His Lord. What was that prayer that spread stir on Arsh what pain was in those words that angel of mountains comes and asks to destroy the people of Taif but in answer Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ prays for them. Even today this Nabvi prayer has the pain, feel of weakness and same passion that help of Allah at once comes from skies. Readers must think that are we facing more difficulties than the traveler ﷺ of Taif faced? Why we protest and complain being pessimists. Let’s feel the hidden pain concealed in these words and lets also pray with same weakness, broken heart and passion to our Lord. If someone recites it 11 times in morning and evening Allah’s Help will come instantly and problems will be solved.
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِلَیْکَ اَشْکُوْ ضَعْفَ قُوَّتِی Allah I complain to You of my less power
وَ قِلَّۃَ حِیْلَتِیْ less power of action
وَ ھَوَ انِی عَلٰی النَّا سِ and my helplessness in people’s eyes
یَا اَرْحَمَ الرّٰحِمِیْنَ اَنْتَ رَبُّ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِیْنَ the most affectionate! You the Lord of weak people
وَاَنْتَ رَبِّی You are My Lord too
وَاَنْتَ رَبِّی to who You are leaving me
اِلٰی مَنْ تَکِلُنِی to who You are leaving me
اِلٰی بَعِیْدٍ یَتَجَھَّمُنِی
who behaves very harshly to me
اَمْ اِلٰی عَدُوٍّمَلَّکْتَہٗ اَمْرِیْ have You appointed an enemy as owner of my luck
