Orange is the treasure of vitamin C. It is cold in nature, its color is reddish yellow when ripen. Its taste is sweet and sour. Its quantity of eating is 2 to 6 pieces.

The treasure of Kino, Fruiter, grapefruit, lemon and orange can be witnessed in every street, shops, stalls and vendors’ carts these days. The fruits of golden color are beneficial for health and rich in vitamin C. Eat them plenty till they are available in markets and get good health and fitness.

Besides various health benefits, this citrus fruit provide plenty of vitamin C. The tasty and sour healthy taste of this fruit is called vitamin C or ascorbic acid. The deficiency of this vitamin in body becomes reason for many diseases. Normally this vitamin is present in almost all fresh foods but tomato juice, cauliflower, green chilies, lemon, oranges and other sour fruits are the major source of this vitamin. Due to deficiency of vitamin C, the gums become weak and bleed that turn into wounds. These wounds further weaken the teeth roots and the disease is called Pyrea. Even the extreme stage of this disease causes the tooth to fall. Orange is the treasure of vitamin C. It is cold in nature, its color is reddish yellow when ripen. Its taste is sweet and sour. Benefits of Orange:

*       Orange is fresh and good taste fruit.

*       It is digestive but adding salt and pepper while eating add to its taste.

*       It produces blood

*       It is beneficial for maintaining blood pressure.

*       It keeps away indigestion.

*       It is beneficial in liver infection and reducing the increased Spleen (Tilli).

*       Its use is not beneficial in flu, cold or cough.

*       It keeps away the liver heat.

*       It quenches thirst.

*       It gives strength and maintains the wellness feeling.

*       The reddish oranges are more beneficial than the common oranges as it contains more vitamin C.

*       It reduces the blood heat.

*       For pimples, freckles, the orange juice without salt and pepper is beneficial.

*       For asthma, it is not beneficial while it is healthy in fever and hepatitis.

*       This fruit do not get rotten within 15 to 20 days.

*         The peel of orange is used and beneficial for glowing skin complexion. The method of this remedy is; grind the orange peels after cleaning the inner white part from it and mix in mustard oil and apply on face while sleeping and wash face with soap in morning. By using it for 6 days, all marks and dark spots from face will go away.

*         The orange portion of the fruit if applied and rubbed on face for five minutes daily on face before sleeping at night then the same benefits can be availed in few days.

*         If someone is suffering from hands or feet burning then take 6 oranges and peel them at night &sprinkle salt and pepper on it and put leave it in morning dew and eat on an empty stomach in morning to get rid of the problem.

The newborn babies get proper vitamin C in the mother’s womb and after getting mother’s milk, they also get some vitamin C, for this reason there should be vitamin C in the diet of the mothers. Plus, the babies need increased dose of Vitamin C. They should be given orange juice. There is no need to add sugar in this juice. Allah Almighty has given us the golden fruits rich in vitamin C and using them can give benefits to our health. Use plenty of these fruits in this season and when they are not available, use other seasonal fruits to maintain your health.
