THE PERSONIFICATION OF DEEDS

Ubqari Magazine - October 2013

On the judgement day, the good deeds would be personified into a handsome person full of youth:

Hadhrat Abdullah Bin Mubarik narrates from Hadharat Zaid Bin Aslam  that on dooms day, the good deed would personify into a handsome man bearing a handsome face and wearing a beautiful perfume.  It would sit beside the person and would give him satisfaction in the hour of distress.  Upon that the believer would say, “May you be rewarded for your kindness you are such a nice companion.”  Please tell me who you are?  The good deed would say, “Don’t you recognize me?”  I stayed with you in the worldly life and in the grave too. I am your good deed. You did well so you will receive a good reward.  Come and ride over me as I was riding you during the life. So that deed would take him to the Allah Almighty and would say, ‘O Allah, The people who traded got a profit in the world.  The people who worked hard got their due but this is such a person that he engaged his ego with me’ Allah Almighty would say, ‘Tell me what you want’?  He would say, ‘O Allah! Your forgiveness and Mercy’.  Allah would say, “Forgave him.” Then he would be clothed in a respected dress and would be given a crown to wear that each of its pearl would be visible from a distance of two miles.  Then the good deed would request Allah, “This guy remained busy in doing good deed and it turned him poor and penniless and he could not spend over his parents while others were earning and spending on their parents.  Upon this his parents would also be rewarded likewise.
