The behaviorof our Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) with Non-Muslims.
As a Muslim, we follow the Prophet (PBUH) who had had an exemplary dealing with the non-Muslims. Now in the following lines, I am sharing the brilliant examples of Hisslaves to decide about our destiny and dealings. It is mentioned in a hadith that the Muslim is he, from whose tongue and hand, the other fellow beings are safe. The life of spiritualists manifests these noble traits. There is no discrimination on the basis of color, creed or religion. They serve the whole humanity without any prejudice or discrimination and always strive for that. Hadhrat Ibrahim Bin Adham says that he was in Bait-ul-Muqadas and after the Isha Prayer when all the folks had left, then two angels descended from the heavens. One of them said to the other,‘I could feel a human here.’ The other said Yes he is Ibrahim Bin AdhamBalkhi. Then first said pity! That he had to suffer a lot of calamities to seek his Almighty’s Pleasure and remained steadfast till he was blessed with spiritual privilege and prestige but he lost that with a tiny mistake. The other said that what was that mistake?? The first said that while he was in Basra then he bought dates from a date merchant, when he finished buying he returned and found a date fallen on the ground. He thought that it was one of the dates which he had bought;so he picked it up, cleaned it and then ate it. Actually the date didn’t belong tohim rather it was thrown from the shopkeeper’s shop.So, when that date reached down his stomach, his spiritual enlightenment was taken back. When Hadhrat Ibrahim Bin Adham(RA) listened to this entireconversation,he started crying and in desperation and haste, he rushed towards Basra. He then bought dates from there and took them to the shopkeeper and told him the full matter. The merchant not only forgave him at once but also apologized for the inconvenience caused by that. Then he returned back to Bait-ul-Muqadas and the next might he again witnessedthe angels descending down. Then they repeated the same conversation but one of them told the other that Hadhrat Ibrahim Bin Adham (RA) spiritual enactment was rehabilitated and his spiritual enlightenment was restored.
