ACCEPTED DUAS ON SELFLESS EFFORTS: My friends! Efforts done selflessly and especially for Allah’s delight are rewarded such which cannot be found in worldly wealth. Today an old man visited and started giving me duas. I quitted everything and started saying ameen to his prayers. He told me that you adviced ayat-e-karima nafil in which ayat-e-karima had to be recited 40 times in each prostration. He was tear-eyed. He picked up his shirt and said, “You gave me tranquility. May Allah bless you with peace; may everyone coming here be blessed with serenity”. Believe me, I quitted all my chores and started saying ameen to all his benisons. My inside told me that if I would have taken million, fifty thousand, forty thousand, twenty thousand, hundred or two hundred, then these duas wouldn’t have come straight from the heart like they are coming now. I was looking at him and saying ameen and was thinking that the distress and anxiety with which he is praying for me are InshAllah being accepted by Allah and why was I being given these duas? The reason being my affiliation with the Quran, affiliation with salat, affiliation with the nafils. I created his association with the Quran and hadeeth.
OBTAIN DUAS WITH EFFORTS: I recalled my Hazrat Khawaja Syed Muhammad Abdullah Hajveri RA’s saying. He said that serve your mentor, guru, murshid so much that you do not have to ask for duas but it will then automatically come from their heart.
He said: “If ever, after putting in efforts, it comes to your heart that I am doing too much, then clean your heart as it has become impure. Make your heart perform ablution; chaste your heart and listen! One ablution is physical and one is spiritual. The spiritual ablution is for the cleaning of the heart and the physical one is for the purity of the body.
WE HAVE EARNED TO RETURN: I tried to be the slave of a chaste man but I did not succeed. He rewarded me with a few affiliations. He gave me many but I couldn’t take them all. That is why I am saying few. I was unworthy; I did not deserve. I gave those associations to that old man. I told the man to follow the amal. He offered the nafil and told me that so many of my issues got solved. He repeatedly told me that the peace I acquired, I obtained this, I obtained that. I offered the nafil in which after the following verse in each prostration I recited ayat-e-karima 40 times and then after salam, prayed to Allah. سبحان ربی الاعلیٰ
The nafils are extremely simple and can be offered any time; any moment; any instance except for the abhorrent (makrooh) times. Today I am giving permission to everyone. Offer this nafil with the intention of haajat in manner similar of offering any other nafil. When you prostrate, then after the above verse, recite ayat-e-karima 40 times. Then after salam, pray to Allah.
ATTACH YOUR AFFILIATIONS INCASE YOU GO ASTRAY: Keep your associations connected. Due to it, your world will beautify and so will your here-after be. If you will not attach yourself, then you will go astray, or stick by or go off-track. Satan is always on the go for us and will not give up until our breathing discontinues or until we depart from this world. Today Allah has given us the opportunity and the prayers of that old man were for you. ”Whoever comes here, may Allah grant them all tranquility”. Ameen. I said ameen on his prayers and my inside called out that these are accepted benisons.
BE IT ANY CONDITION YOU ARE IN, STAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR CREATOR: I went to a place. There was a big aalim; very pious man. He was putting bread in the oven. His name was Maulana Saddar-Uddin RA. I went to do ask for his health. He lived in a shack; there was a bamboo in the centre on which a bulb was hanging. He had taken the connection from somewhere. When I visited him, he told me that ALHUMDILILLAH I am pure, by the grace of Allah I am offering salat. Ramadan is approaching and I just want to keep my fasts. (It was not in his fate and he passed away before the blessed month). I told him that Maulana, I am visiting you for duas. Then that dervish held up his hands such as if he was praying to Allah and my Rab is bestowing on him and He actually did.
CHASTE BEING’S CONDITION OF GRATITUDE: I was returning home after offering Friday prayers. There is a berry-tree in our street. A lot of berries were scattered on the ground. I went back in the past remembering a pious man I once visited for gratuity. There were berries hanging on the tree. A man kept plucking and gave them to me and I was eating them. I thought that they are the berries of a dervish’s place. Plus I have the permission to eat them and the berries were really sweet. When we went inside to meet the dervish he said that I am bed-ridden since 14 years. He also added that I am not that ill and shared amazing talks of gratitude and patience. He was on death-bed for the past 14-years. I told him that I am here for your duas. Then that dervish gave wonderful duas. It was his duas that touched my heart after my hazrat’s duas. My Hazrat used to bestow affection. After those duas, it is this old man whose duas also add to my list of historic duas. Should I call them historic or precious; what should I term them? I started wondering! Tariq, why did you receive these duas? My heart called out that it’s only because of the slavery of Prophet Muhammad PBUH although we have not become his slave but just use the term ‘slave’. (To be continued)

I am very grateful to you that since the day I have started attending your dars on your order, all dilemmas of our home are solving gradually. Our biggest concern was the 302 case on my son which has resolved by the grace of Allah and your prayers. We visited everyone and went everywhere for his case but no effort was fruitful. Since we started attending the dars, my son was cleared from the case and came back home in a matter of days; safe and sound.
