God saved me from embarrassment in front of my mother-in-law!

Ubqari Magazine - February 2020

Dear readers! On the ninth and tenth of Muharram I intended to spend the day in the Tasbeeh Khana in Lahore with my mother and my mother-in-law (aunt) and my son who is about 12 years old. My mother-in-law came with me for the first time at my insistence. She had never come to the rosary before. When we arrived at Tasbeeh khana, the women in the service said, "Send your son to the tasbeeh khana of men, but the child was too much worried to go there all alone." Then they said, "You go to Dar al-Tawbah (another building for women where women stay with their children). We went there while my mother and my mother-in-law remained there in the Tasbeeh khana for women. Shortly after I left, my son started shouting that I should not stay here. I have to go to my Paternal and maternal grandmothers. Sometimes he would say give me money. I will bring some food for myself. I asked him to go and bring my bag from Ladies Tasbeeh Khanaa. When he arrived, I got worry to know that my wallet was not in my bag. I said go back and check it out. I'll find out inshaAllah. I started reciting Durood-e-Pak. I recited a Tasbeeh of Durood-e-Pak. There was a growing realization that if I didn't get the money to go back, my mother-in-law would tell everyone there (home, neighborhood) that I went with her to Tasbeeh khana and someone stole her money and I was in the same pain. And in this state of fear, I was praying that Ya Allah! There are people who take your name. I am sure that no one has stolen it. It is missed somewhere. I have just finished praying that my mother-in-law who has pain in her knees, arrived and told that the attendant is saying that I have found a wallet. Whosoever would tell me about money present therein, I would return that wallet to her. I went and told them about the money and got my wallet back, alhmdulillah. This was the first time I realized the power of a dua with full devotion.
