Rabi ul Sani, also known as, Rabi ul Akhir is the fourth month of Islamic calendar year. Following are the nawafil pious people would offer in this month.

First night: It has been told by pious people that offering eight rakah nafil prayer after obligatory prayer of Maghrib in first night of this month carries much spiritual reward. The two rakah nafil prayer be offered such that Surah Al Kauthar be recited three times after Surah Al Fatiha in first rakah and Surah Al Kafiroon be recited three times after Surah Al Fatiha in second rakah. In rest of the rakahs, Surah Ikhlas be recited three times after Surah Al Fatiha.

Four Rakah Nafil Prayer: It is in the book titled Jawahir Ghaibi that offering four rakah nafil prayer in first, fortnight and twenty-ninth night of this month in the manner that Surah Ikhlas is recited five times after Surah Al Fatiha carries much spiritual reward. Thousand virtues are awarded to and thousand sins are waived for the one who offers this nafil prayer.

To die as believer: One reciting the following verse daily after Isha prayer for 1111 times for the whole month would die as believer. فاطر السموٰت والارض انت ولی فی الدنیا والاخرہ توفنی مسلما والحقنی بالصلحین۔ (Surah Al Yousaf: 101)

Translation: O my Lord! Thou hast given me (something) of sovereignty and hast taught me (something) of the interpretation of events - Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protecting Guardian in the world and the Hereafter. Make me to die Muslim (unto Thee) and join me to the righteous.

Prayer that incurs blessing: Reciting Darood Shareef in the holy month of Rabi ul Sani incurs spiritual reward.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn e Abbas رضی اللہ عنہ that once Hazrat Israfeel came to the Holy Prophet Muhamamd ﷺ and asked to recite, سبحٰن اللہ والحمدللہ ولا الہ الا اللہ واللہ اکبر ولا حول ولا قوۃ الا باللہ العلی العظیم عدد ما علم اللہ ومثل ما علم اللہ۔ One reciting it once would be like those who remain worshipping Almighty Allah all their lifetime. This prayer would become a reason for him to enter Jannah. This would also shed his sins as in autumn, leaves get shed from trees. He would remain safe from hell fire. It has been narrated in a Hadith that spiritual reward for the recitation of these words would remain forever even in the life hereafter.

Marvels of Kalonji, Ajwain and Meethi Dana

Respected Hazrat Hakeem Sahib, Asalam Alaikum! I have been reading Ubqari magazine for past many months. It is indeed a useful magazine. I am fond of writing. I have written for many magazines but ever since I have come across Ubqari, I have started writing exclusively for it.

My knees were swollen and it would hurt me while sitting and getting up. I read a tonic in Ubqari that grinding Kalonji, Ajwain and Meethi dana, taken in equal quantity and eating half teaspoon twice a day cures inflammation.
