Muhammad bin Usama (رضی اللہ عنہٗ) told his father. He said that Hazrat Jafar , Ali and Zaid bin Harsa (رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین) gathered then Hazrat Jafar ( رضی اللہ عنہ) said that Prophet ﷺ loves me more than every one of you. And Hazrat Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ) said that Prophet ﷺ loves me more than every one of you. And Hazrat Zaid (رضی اللہ عنہ) said that Prophet ﷺ loves me more than every one of you. . So all of them said lets go to Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and ask him. Usama (رضی اللہ عنہ) said that all of them came and asked for permission then Prophet ﷺ said, go out and see who these people are?Then I replied They are Jafar, Ali and Zaid (رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین) (I did not say He is my father who came). Prophet ﷺ said allow them to come. So all of them came inside and they asked Prophet ﷺ whom does he love the most. Then Prophet ﷺ replied Fatima (رضی اللہ عنہا). They said we want to know among the men. Then Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said O Jafar In modesty and presence (face and character) you are similar to me and like me and you are family. O Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ) You are my son in law and father of my generation, I am from within you and you are from me. O zaid You are my master (freed slave) you are from me and you have links with me and I love you the most. (Masnad Imam Ahmed J 204`5)
