Return from the Eid prayer will forgive all sins

Ubqari Magazine - July 2016

Shawal ul Makrum is the 10th month of Islam which is very beneficial and full of blessings. The people of Arab used to go on trips and hunting sessions during this month and made their camels run as fast as they can. Despite their speed the female camels used to raise their tails hence this month was given the name of Shawal. The first Eid ul Fitr in Islam was on 1st Shawal ul Makrum 6 A.D. In the month of Shawal Hazrat Abdullah bin Abu Bakr (رضی اللہ عنہ) passed away. Hazrat Umme Aemen also passed away in this month. Famous Amwi Caliph Abdul Mulk Rehmet ul Allah bin Marwan also died in the month of Shawal. Famous elder Hazrat Khawaja Asman Harwany (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) also departed from the world in this month.

When you see the moon of Shawal then recite the following prayer:

Eid ul Fitr:

The day of Eid ul Fitr is a very joyous and blessed day. Hazrat Wahb bin Munba (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) stated that Allah Almighty made the heaven on this day and also planted the tree of Toubah on the Arsh. On this day Hazrat Jibrael (علیہ السلام) was ordered to reveal the revelation to the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) and also on this day the magicians sent by Firoun to compete against Hazrat Musa (علیہ السلام) apologized and attained forgiveness. Hazrat Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said that on the day of Eid ul Fitr when the people leave for the Eid prayer Allah Almighty concentrates on them and declares: Oh my people! You fasted for me, you prayed for me, now go to your homes knowing that you have been blessed by me. Hazrat Wahb bin Munba (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) said that the satan, on each Eid, cries and grumbles and all the other satans gather around him inquiring into his distress. He replies that Allah Almighty has blessed the people of Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) on this day. There is a Hadith that tells us that in the morning of Eid day, Allah Almighty sends the angels which land on the earth and assemble themselves on streets, roads etc. Then they say in a loud voice that can be heard by all but humans and jins: Oh people of the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)! Come to your Lord, He will award you and forgive even the most grievous of your sins. And when the people gather for the Eid prayer then Allah Almighty asks the angels that what is the reward for hard work and if that person completes his or her work? The angels say that the person is rewarded completely. Then Allah Almighty says that I make you my witness, I have made my blessing a award for the people.

The day of Eid:

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضی اللہ عنہ) said that say the Takbeer (اللہ اکبر) with great passion so that your Eid is a beautiful one. Hazrat Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said that any person who recited سبحان اللہ وبحمدہ three times and gifted its blessings to the Muslim souls who had died then in each Muslims's grave one thousand holy lights enter and when that person who gifted this dies himself then Allah Almighty allows the one thousand holy lights to enter his grave as well.

Six Rozas:

In the month of Shawal, keeping six rozas has a lot of blessings and rewards. But to fast on first of Shawal is forbidden hence fasting should be done from the second of Shawal.
