Many people are desperate for summers by the time February arrives, especially so because many feel that the season of winters drains their energy levels, weakens their immune system and hence affects their performance. To counter this, many people move towards medicines or a diet that helps them maintain their health. Soya beans and beans of methi are also quite beneficial in fighting against the cold. In the winters, soak methi beans in some water and cook them together with rice like kichari. These beans are really helpful in getting rid of the extra mucus from the body as well as controlling cholesterol and back pains. It also makes your body’s reactive system stronger. Soya beans are also effective as pain relievers and mixing them with other helpful ingredients along with suji can prove to be a healthy addition to the diet in winters.

Cold winds in the winter force your pores to close which doesn’t allow you to sweat and this effect the level of warmth in your body. In such a scenario, one must eat appropriately and use dry fruit too. Your breakfast should also be a healthy one comprising of eggs, cereal or milk. In the afternoon, opt for more fruit rather than a heavy meal. Carrots which are like cheaper apples are perfect for this weather. And while your diet is appropriate, it must be coupled with exercise too. Since cold winds blow in this season, one must take care and not step out in the early morning or evening without reason. Also since the nights are long, one must sleep in a room that is warm but has a source of ventilation too. You must also keep your feet warm and if your immune system is not that strong then massaging your body with oil of ‘tillay’ and sitting in the sun would be beneficial.

If you are healthy then after Fajr prayer, move out for some exercise too. Keeping your facial skin moisturised is also a must in winters since it can dry out really quickly after the exposure to the cold winds especially on those days when weather is too cold. Other parts of the body are covered by the warm clothes but the face is naked and becomes dry and rough and repture face skin. For this glycerine and lemon juice is benefit for it. If some marks appear then wash face with soap and warm water, in this condition use glycerine with rose water. Cold, flu, cough are the special disease of winter. ھوالشافی: 5gm gulbanafsha, 5gm gul gaozuban, 5gm tukhm khatmi, 5 piece unab, 5gm sapistan: boil all the ingredients add sugar to taste and drink morning and evening. Winter season wants precautions.   1. Ginger juice and honey will be useful.
  2. Boil sount, misri, til and drink it for cold and flu.
  3. In the night before sleep mix lemon juice with warm water will be benefit.
  4. Boil mint leaves and ginger is also useful.
  5. If feel pain due to winter cold then honey is benefit for this.
