After walking out of the Madrissa, those two young men walked towards the car and said, Mufti Sahab has ordered us to come to you and take permission from you to sit in the car and spend some time with you. That poor man replied: Please feel free to do so. After two to three minutes of silence one of the young men asked: can we ask you a question? He replied sure why not. He then asked: ALLAH سبحانہ تعالی has promised us in His Book that Ask me what you need, I will fulfil it for you, so now can we ask ALLAH to give us anything we want to have? The man replied yes why not. But we should not ask of anything other than what ALLAH wants. They said no not against ALLAH’s orders but we think that Hazrat Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم will walk into paradise first. Who will hold his camel’s rope is already decided and he will walk Hazrat Muhammad SAW into the paradise. But whats not decided is the person sitting behind him on the camel. So I pray to ALLAH that when our Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم walks into paradise, may ALLAH make this my destiny that Nabi SAW asks me oh my son Abdullah! Come sit behind me! So will ALLAH let it happen and accept this dua of mine? I replied: sure you can pray for it!
Then he said: okay, so whom you extremely love will be the person you will be within Jannah too, so then Insha’Allah we will get a place in the feet of our loved Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم? I said if there is true love, then definitely you’ll get that place. Okay Hazrat tell me, our loved Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ask us to do errands for him right? I replied that the work of Daawat that you’re doing here Insha’Allah all your wishes will come true in Jannah because of it.
Both these young men belong to the city of temples Jammu from the Brahman family whom ALLAH had guided back to Islam a few years back. They stayed with me for two hours and kept talking with me about Jannah, ALLAH سبحانہ تعالی and His Beloved NABI صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. A thought struck that they have been studying about the Sahaba رضی اللہ اجمعین that they used to live their physical lives here in this world but their heart was stuck in the hereafter and their faith in Jannah and Hellfire was strong so much so that even if they had seen it with their own eyes then, their faith would not increase. This new vigor and fresh blood was making an old man with a shriveled Iman like me remember the times of the Sahaba رضی اللہ اجمعین. They kept asking again and again whether Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم would be aware of their love for him? What happens to us in our house? One of them said: Hazrat! Both my father and brother make me lay down and fix me down, and then my elder brother puts his foot on my chest and insult me and my beard (Sunnah of the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم). If they see me praying Tahajjud at night they throw something at my head almost as if to break it. I just stay at home because of your order. Daawat is my Nabi’s biggest Sunnah otherwise my house is hell for me because I don’t get to spend my life according to the Sunnah of my Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. After a while he said: I have heard that we should not expect a higher standard of ourselves more than our elders but I can at least wish to emulate him out of my love for Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. What if I remove my front two teeth? I really wish to do that; we can at least do this for him. The time of the flight was near, he grabbed me and took me to a room and then after closing it said: Our Nabi’s صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم Sahaba used to do this. First you pray for us and I will say Ameen, then I will make Dua and you will say Ameen. I asked him what Dua he wanted me to make? He said that pray that ALLAH سبحانہ تعالی makes me such a Noorani Muslim that whoever looks at me becomes a Muslim. I prayed that he becomes a Da’ayi, and he said Subhan ALLAH after saying Ameen from the core of his heart and then for a long time kept praying earnestly that My ALLAH please grant us your unconditional, irrevocable and true love that we do not see anything other than Your Self. The time spent with these two young men refreshed my Imaan completely. When old blood becomes rusty and dead, then new life can be given to it by new fresh blood only. These new guests on the chapter of Islam, seems to be more than other, where old Muslims like us are neglecting Basic Sunnahs there people are coming daily who focuses on Sunnah one by one and are gathering people under the shadow of Sunnah’s of Holy Prophet ﷺ . I wish! We might get result from it by opening our eye of lesson.
