Everybody was surprised to hear this strange statement of lord. Young farmer who had hidden his old father on the room of roof of house came home and told his father that today lord had ordered that everyone should make a rope of fire ash. How can anyone make a rope of ash?
It was a dark night of winter, quietness and darkness was almost at the last end. . Gust of winds shook the leaves and passed while bending the trees. . Everything outside was about to freeze. People were sleeping in safe rooms of their houses.
In the vicinity was a strange movement near the road. Four shadows were taking to each other while holding weapons. They were whispering to each other. They reached near the house of a wealthy trader. Now they were thinking of going inside the hospital. . In the house hamza, his mother, wife and child were sleeping unaware of dacoits. One of robbers jumped over the wall and opened the door for his fellows. Burglars quietly occupied different places in front of room in which hamza’s family was sleeping. They broke the door and entered the room. Hamza’s family was watching the burglars with amazement. One of dacoits ordered them to stay silent in a cruel voice. Then the cruel voice again sounded if anyone tried to call for help he will have to suffer deep consequences.
Then the leader ordered to collect expensive things. Hamza said to one of burglars you should not do such thing, it is wrong so fear the God. In response one of dacoit put one of weapons on temple of hamza and roared silence. This fearing scene created fear in all individuals of house. Hamza’s son was holding the hand of his mother in fear. His young mind could not comprehend the danger in which his family was. He was surprised about who were these people which entered in his house and were taking all the things of house. He started to cry and asked his father that O father who are these bad people and why are they taking all the things of our house. His father replied O sweet son, these are robbers and they don’t care of other human beings. After hearing this dacoits started to laughed and turned to go out of house
Abdullah said but O father grandmother had told me if I recited ayat ul kursi before going to sleep then no evil shall enter my house and God will take us in his possession. O father I had recited Ayt ul kursi before sleeping. Then why is this happening. How did these evil people enter our house? Why didn’t god take us in HIS protection?
This question was asked with such innocence that it froze the feet of leader of robbers. He was indulged in such a fear of which he was unknown. He started to tremble, and was soaked in sweat as he was under the influence of some unknown force. With tiring legs he trudged to Abdullah and inquired do you know Ayat ul Qursi, Abdullah answered in yes and started to recite ayat ul qursi from the depths of his heart.
With the recitation, leader was feeling himself week under the weight of recitation. When Abdullah finished the recitation then the cruel voice of dacoit was turned into a week one. He told his companions to put all the things they had picked up, back in their places. Then he told Abdullah without any doubt you are in protection of God. HE is the best protector of them all. Whoever recalls HIS name from the deep depths of his heart they will never face any dangers. Please forgive us and pray for us.
You have shown us the way which we had forgotten. Leader then went from the house silently along with his companions. Abdullah remembers his dacoits still today. Selection
Dear children it is said that once upon a time in china when a person reached an age of sixty then they used to throw him off the cliff into a deep pit. There lived a famer who had reached the age of sixty so the leader of that area ordered that this farmer has reached his age so he should be thrown into the pit. Farmer’s son did not want to throw his father off the cliff but it was the order of leader so he was helpless. He lifted his old father and started to walk towards the mountains.
Old farmer was sitting on his shoulder and was breaking the branches of trees which were coming in the way and was throwing them on the ground. When the young son saw him throwing the tree branches, he asked his father, O father what are you doing? In reply old man said O my dear son, I am throwing these branches in the way so that when you come back after throwing me, you should not forget the way. When son heard this talk he thought to himself how much my father is kind, he loves me dearly how can I throw him off the cliff so he forfeited the idea and returned home silently with his father. After coming back he hid his father in a small corner of his house so that no one would know.
This incident had not passed much time when the leader of the village gathered every farmer. When all of them gathered the lord said that all of you are ordered to make a rope of which is made of ash.

Although his father was old but he was very intelligent and intellectually experienced. He told his son that you should make a rope which is tangled very tightly then burn it when it turns into ashes then very dear care take it to lord. Young son was very happy to hear that he did so.
Lord praised the son and admired his intelligence. And asked O young farmer how you did such a difficult task. In response young farmer replied with respect if you will forgive me then I will tell you the truth. The lord said tell the truth you will not be harm. Farmer narrated the whole truth. Lord was very much influenced by the talk of young one. He said to himself old people are very intelligent and wise. Instead of throwing them off the cliff we should protect them wholly solely. Then that hakim ordered that from this day onwards stop throwing old people off the cliff after they have reached the age of sixty and they should be taken care of so that we can benefit from their intelligence and wisdom.
