(Muhammad Babar Ali Sukhera, Multan)
Two women came to Prophet Muhammad PBUH and they were wearing bangles of gold. Prophet Muhamamd PBUH asked them do you give Zakaat for this? They said no. So He PBUH said do you wish that these bangles of yours become part of the fire of Hell? They both said no. He PBUH said then give Zakaat for them (Tirmidhi, Nisaayi).
In another narration it says that the money for which Zakaat is not given will become like a skinned snake on the Day of judgement and bite the owner.
The significance of always staying with Wuzu (ablution):
Hazrat Ans رضی اللہ عنہ narrated that Hazrat Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: O Ans! If it is possible then always try to remain with Wuzu. Because whenever the Angel of Death takes away someone’s soul who’s in the state of Wuzu, that person’s death is written down as martyrdom. (Altazkirah Fil Hawaalil Mauti Amoorul Aakhirah 225)
A long Hadith has been reported in Kanzul Imaan book by Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed (رضی اللہ عنہ) in which it says that a person expressed to Hazrat Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم a lot of his wishes and desires saying how can I become this and that. One of the questions from them was: “I want that there is abundance in my Rizq” In his reply to this he said: always remain in the state of wuzu, your Rizq will be increased manifold. (Kanzul Emaan)
