The person who fasts feels more thirst while fasting in the summer. If cold water is drunk at the time of iftaar then there is a danger for gas in the stomach and sores in the liver. If water is drunk after eating dates, a person stays safe from many dangers.

During ramadhan, where special arrangements are made for worship dhikr during ramadhan, at the same time special emphasis is laid on the foods and of sehar and iftaar. At the time of iftaar a lot of things are prepared. Pakoras, samosas, kachuri, and dahi bhallas and you treat the food really well as well. You should treat it well, rather too well. But be careful about one thing. And you may have understood that by reading the title of this post. Yes! Break your fast with dates. Why? We can provide you an answer for this. So sir! The thing is that our prophet Hazrat Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم), “Any person among you who wishes to break his fast, he (she) should do so with dates. Becasue the dates are a source of blessing. If you cannot find dates, then perform iftaar with water, because that purifies.” (Tirmidhi) And dates are among your favorite foods. The medical specialists say that a person cannot eat after sehri in the morning and the body burn calories continuously, dates are such balanced due to which energy acquires balance. A Strange Secret about the Coldness of Stomach and the Brain:

Among the bodily imbalances, the worst imbalance is of the addiction of the tongue. During Ramadhan and especially in iftaar such things are arranged that keep the taste of the tongue alive, but increase the acidity in the stomach and by increasing the thirst they disturb the digestion. Dates are among one of the blessings of Allah. Hazrat Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) used to like dates a lot. Dates are nutritious, gives strength to the heart and stomach. It produces blood and fulfills the deficinecy of iron in the body. During Ramadhan the milk shake of dates cools and strengthens the stomach. Sunnat and Health: 1) Eating of dates is healthy and strengthening. Hazrat Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said that a person who eats seven ajwa dates daily, remains safe from the harms of poison and magic on the day.  (Bukhaari and Muslim) 2. Put 7 choharas or dates in a clay utensil at night in water. In the morning drink that water, and if you wish eat the dates or chohaaras as well. This is a complete breakfast as well as a secret of health as well. Hazrat Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) used to eat dates. (Tirmidhi) The dates that ripe on the trees are the best. Hazrat Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) liked it. According to one Hadith of Bukhaari sharif, Hazrat Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) prescribed to eat seven dates in the morning.
