The Complete Submission To The Prophet (صلی الله علیہ وسلم) And The Real Tranquillity

Ubqari Magazine - June 2015

 Extract from the weekly sermon…Sermon of spirituality and peace

 This small group of travelers including Hadhrat Amina (رضی اللہ عنہا), the Beloved Prophet (صلی الله علیہ وسلم) and Umm-e-Aiman (رضی اللہ عنہا) returned to Makkah after visiting the grave of Hadhrat Abdullah (رضی اللہ عنہ). On their return, Hadhrat Amina also breathed her last. After the funeral was over, Hadhrat Umme-Aiman reports that she heard about the cries. When she chased them, she saw a strange scene that a young boy who was just six was hugging her mother’s grave and crying vehemently. This young boy was none other than the Prophet ((صلی الله علیہ وسلم) and he was talking to his mother in the grave. Umm-e-Aiman (رضی اللہ عنہا) said that she tried to take him away from the grave but he seemed to be sticking to it like sticking to his mother’s lap. A child can think up to a certain limit. My intuition says that probably the mother’s last words would be that every living has to die. Everyone has to leave this world and taste the death. My son I am witnessing a light in your forehead and Allah will make you so bright to enlighten the whole world and even whosever stands by you would also be enlightened by Allah and whosoever would love you will have his destiny brightened in this world as well as the hereafter.

Shine they get from you, all the seekers

Please shine my heart o the shiner

 To my Muhammad be but true, and you have conquered me;

the world is nothing you will command My Pen of Destiny.

That six years old young boy did not eat anything for three days. He was continuously missing his mother. Umm-e-Ayman (رضی اللہ عنہا) lifted him up while the grave’s dust was still sticking to his sacred body and hugged him and took him away. Then after fifty-seven years, our beloved Prophet (صلی الله علیہ وسلم) was going on hajj. When he reached the place of Abwa, he asked all his companions to stop and then he went himself to his mother’s grave and cried over there for hours and hours. He cried so immensely in the memory of his mother for hours…

My dear friends! Would there be any more loving and faithful than him? Who conveyed to us this noble faith while being helpless and orphaned at tender age and after having faced so many troubles and abuses. You should decide yourself that whom should you be loyal to? We should also need to ponder how losing it is to betraying such a lovable personality. We have actually tried to deceive our own self by betraying him. Following the noble Prophet (صلی الله علیہ وسلم) will open so many doors of Blessings and Mercy.

Hadhrat Abdullah (رضی اللہ عنہ) had already died before his birth and after six years, his mother passed away. After sometime, his grandfather Hadhrat Abdul Muttalib also breathed his last and then a very loving and faithful uncle Abu Talib also died after some tough periods of his life. He lost his grandfather and uncle but the sorrow for the whole Ummah was much more than it. He always cried for the Ummah and what this betraying Ummah did for him in return.

Your hearts are now of longing void, your souls now know no zeal;
you heed no more that message great which Ahmad (PBUH) did reveal.

Extravagance in marriage ceremonies:

There was a marriage in our relatives and I was quite young at that time. I had heard from my Sheikh Hadhrat Abdullah Hajveri (رحمت اللہ علیہ), though I did not understand it, that I asked my auntie if she had invited the Madinay Wala? I could still remember her reply. She said that you molvi are always trying to ruin our comfort and happiness. Why are you becoming a hurdle between our cheers and us? One day I met a person who said that he married his sister with such a splendor and grace that he spent more than 2.5 million on it and now the matter has worsened so much that they are demanding for divorce. That made me think to define the real good marriage and what is considered as good marriage in our society. My analysis reached the conclusion that the extravagance was the main reason of their unrest and destruction.

OBEDIENCE OF THE HOLY PROPHET (صلی الله علیہ وسلم) AND THE REAL TRANQUILLITY:

My friends! The real peace and tranquility always lies in following the Allah’s messenger (صلی الله علیہ وسلم). No one ever found peace anywhere else. My messenger was the messenger of peace. Faith is the other name of safety and peace. Even his midwife’s name was ‘shifa’, which means recovery from illness. Hadhrat Halima (رضی اللہ عنہا) who is the foster mother of our beloved prophet ((صلی الله علیہ وسلم) her name means ‘Hilm’ meaning mildness. Hadhrat Amina (رضی اللہ عنہا) who was his real mother, her name was derived from ‘aman’ means peace. Our Holy Prophet (صلی الله علیہ وسلم brought peace and tranquility from all sides. He has brought peace for the ummah. How can he find peace who betrays such a loving and peace spreading prophet? If you are suffering from misery and poverty still keep the high hopes rather imagine about the hitch. My friends this chance given by the Almighty is the first and the last. We should take full benefit from it and should be loyal to the Kamli wala (صلی الله علیہ وسلم). We should never forget the Ummah of Kamli wala (صلی الله علیہ وسلم). Even if you are struck with poverty and misery, still you should not get disheartened rather imagine the scene when an eight years old was grazing goats in the mountain of Thaur and he had neither any cloth to cover his head from the sun nor a shoe in his feet to walk over the sharp and hot rocks.
