Ubqari Magazine - September 2014

I wish to sacrifice my life upon Allah the merciful, who called me again to His holy land on 10th February, 2012. Now every month I was privileged to visit the Prophet’s tomb. Nowadays I keep visiting Saudi Arab from Pakistan but I never stop reciting this tasbeeh.

The streets of Madinah Munawara, the air of Makkah Mukarrama and the calls of Labbaik!!! Every Muslim’s hands are raised in the longing of this prayer. I, a sinful person also used to remain eager having this desire in my heart. Neither had I plenty of money nor any good deeds, a hope or any plans. It was just the intensity of passion that caused the acceptance of my prayer. The day of April 28th, 2008 was unveiled to us as a messenger of joy and happiness. On that day we left home to perform Umrah. On April 21st we stepped on the holy land of Makkah. Performing Tawaf and Umrah like criminals with faltering steps and scattered thoughts, in a state of uncertainty, lost in the glory and grandeur. We did not know how twenty eight days were passed! I kept thinking that how it all happened…??? How we reached there…??? My heart stated that it was the tasbeeh of [space for Arabic text] that took us there. About eight to ten years back I heard that if someone recites [space for Arabic text] 100 times, his attendance for Hajj is confirmed. It overwhelmed me and I believed firmly in it. Time passed through the ups and downs of life, months and years passed. After Fajar and Tahajjud prayer reciting this tasbeeh became my routine. For a few moments in my thoughts, I used to go to Haram Pak. Meanwhile I saw Prophet’s ﷺ tomb in my dream, I also saw myself offering prayer in the corridor of Khana Kaaba. Alhamdulillah! My heart said that I could reach there only in my dreams__ but it is His glorious benevolence that He called us to His kingdom in reality. I firmly believe that it is neither money nor struggle but only Allah’s will and the blessing of this sacred tasbeeh which ensures attendance for Hajj. I continued this tasbeeh even after coming back, I thank Allah (all power is His) who shadowed me under His immense mercy and blessed me with the pilgrimage of Umrah and other sacred places. But the desire for the journey of Harmain Shreefain (the two holy masjids) never ends. So I continued the tasbeeh with the hope that perhaps this longing bears fruit and destiny takes me again to this great journey. Years passed on, this desire kept tickling my heart. Whenever I used to listen to the naat, “I hope that my master ﷺwill call me to his feet”, it aroused a wave of faith and spirit within me and all the worldly thoughts were removed from my heart and mind. I used to feel like being in the shades of Prophet’s ﷺ tomb and my passion of visiting his tomb used to increase further. This is how four years’ long period went by.

Then miraculously my son got a job from Dubai to Saudi Arab in Riyadh. It was 16th July, 2011 when he reached the land of Saudi Arab. This is how the rays of hope were enlightened, he also got family visa. I wish to sacrifice my life upon Allah the merciful, who called me again to His holy land on 10th February, 2012. Now every month I was privileged to visit the Prophet’s ﷺ tomb. Nowadays I keep visiting Saudi Arab from Pakistan. But I never stop reciting this tasbeeh so that my life remains filled with the faith increasing moments.
