Readers! This verse has given me so much that no matter how much I write is less. In the end I shall only say that there is so much in this small verse that it is beyond description, then what cannot be found from the whole Quran. The matter is only of firmness of belief.
Respected hakeem sahib, Assalam-o-alaikum!First of all I would like to thank you. I started performing deeds since the last 3 years. During this time, I attained a lot and the devil and nafs also tried to lead astray a lot. There are many observations and experiences with me that are concerned with my personal life. The best gift I received in the last 3 years was the previous ramadhan. And among them the verse no. 114 of surah Al-Maaida that you told us about. This is the verse that I have been reciting during the last ramadhan due to which in that ramadhan I had a lot of blessings in my sustenance. But in the previous Ramadhan when you told in the sermon to ask Allah for physical and spiritual sustenance, I started reciting this verse before ramadhan. I recited one tasbih in the morning and one in the evening with attention and love and sometimes other than that too. But every time I asked Allah for spiritual sustenance, the health of soul, food, and purity. And Allah almighty gave so much worldly sustenance in this Ramadhan that it was beyond my imagination. And the privilege I had for performing worship that I cannot think about. That I am a sinful person, can I perform this much dhikr. The article would become very long. But I want to tell the readers about the benefits of this verse as much as possible. Due to recitation of this verse Allah almighty has given me so much that. My children did a lot of shopping for the eid. The ration of the house was plentiful and along with that there was a lot of bliss. Since the time I have gained consciousness, I never had such a ramadhan that I had due to recitation of this verse. Dhikr, tasbih, recitation of Quran-e-kareem, five daily prayers, nawaafil that you had told me about, I used to recite them daily. In the odd nights of the last 10 days ramadhan kareem the nafal prayers in your book about ramadhan, Medical and Spiritual Tips About Ramadhan-ul-Mubarak, that I had obtained from the office of Ubqari, I did those too. I also recited salaat-us-Tasbeeh. I spent the nights of the whole ramadhan in worship and dhikr. Other than that Allah almighty chose a sinful person like me for performing a virtuous deed. I kept on sending food for 25 people to the mosque daily. For very important tasks I left my house only 5 times during ramadhan. Even for that I had prayed that O Alah, grant me all the time of ramadhan for your worship only. And Allah almighty helped me so much that I finished many activities at home. I also kept on making food for house and mosque for the purpose of iftaar. But I did not vene have a single day on which I had to open my fast in the kitchen while working. While sitting on the dining mat I kept on praying to Allah and kept on reciting the verse no. 114 of surah al-Maaida. Another thing that I did was that I kept on thanking for all the blessings of Allah Almighty. You are a friend of Allah, you probably spend a ramadhan with a lot of worship. But for the sinful person that I am the previous ramadhan was memorable. I still used to pray that O Allah! I do not deserve as to how much you have given me but if the next ramadhan is in my destiny then make that memorable for me too. And just like in this ramadhan you gave me the courage to pray, give me the same courage in the ordinary days too.. The digest thing is that one of the things that I wanted to abandon but I could not even though I had tried a lot. I prayed nasals for haajat but I could not abandon that sin. Due to this verse no. 114 of surah al-Maaida I got rid of it. Because I used to pray that O Allah! Make my soul pure and make it strong. Readers! What this verse has given me, no matter how much I write about that is less. At last I would only like to say as much that there is so much in this small verse that is beyond description then what cannot be found from the whole Quran? The matter is only of firmness of belief. Whoever I told about this to that Allah almighty gave such an opportunity to perform worship and dhikr, she becomes astonished that how used to complete household chores, and cooked food for the mosque, then how did I manage to find time. I used to say that I pray to Allah Almighty may give you a lot of blessings in the time and give me a lot of sustenance too. Respected hakeem sahib! I received a lot due to your prayers.
