Once upon a time there lived a boy in a village named Ahmed. He belonged to a poor family. Ahmed’s father worked as a labor which made their ends meet. Apart from this he still admitted Ahmed to school. Ahmed was a very intelligent boy. Once he found a bag in the market. He picked up that bag and put it in his pocket. Meanwhile, an upset person comes an asked him about the lost bag. He mentioned some of the signs of the bag. Ahmed took the bag from his pocket and gave it to that person. The person was extremely happy with Ahmed. He said that he had all his yearly saving in the bag. He rewarded Ahmed with 1 silver coin. Ahmed first refused to take the coin but he accepted the coin on his insisting. He bought some seed of vegetable from this coin. When he came home, he planted those seeds. After some days he saw small tiny plan emerging from the ground. Ahmed was very happy to see his plants growing. One day he saw the same person passing through his house who rewarded him the coin. Ahmed greeted him and brought him home where he treated him very well. While he was leaving Ahme gave him a basket full of vegetables. He asked Ahmed what was that. Ahmed told him that these vegetables are the result of seeds that he bought from his rewarded coin and cultivated them in his small field.

The person was very happy and asked Ahmed if he was a farmer. The person said that he was looking for a hard-working and honest person and with the grace of Allah; you possess these two qualities. I will appoint you. You can study in the morning and work with me to look after my accounts in the evening. I will reward you 200 silver coins every month. Ahmed accepted his offer happily. Then he used to study in the morning and work in the evening. Finally Ahmed became a big/rich man. He made schools and hospitals for poor people and lived his life happily.

And the moon sets forever

Once upon a time there lived a man with his son in a village. The village was the residence of fishermen. The name of the man was Karmo and his son was called Chand. Chand was 16-17 years old. He used to do everything in his own way and will but used to avoid unnecessary talks. One day he asked his father to go to the deeper side of the sea. The father agreed. They started off their journey. When they came to the deep side of the sea, they came across a big Typhoon. The father and son departed in this typhoon. Karmo screamed a lot but was unable to find his son. Karmo finally gave up. When he returned from the sea, he told his wife about the loss of their son. The wife had a heart attack hearing this and died on the spot.  Karmo was left alone; he used to cry all day long. Sometime he used to chat with his friend to feel lighter otherwise the only thing that he used to do was cry. He was getting old day by day. He was provided dinner by his neighbor friend Fazlo and someone else in the morning.  This is how he was spending his life. Sometimes in life we come across certain time that we regret our doings. One day when he was lying on the bed, someone entered and greeted him. The person said that he was a traveler and wanted to rest in his house. Karmo agreed. The man gave him his bag and told him that he had money in it and asked him to keep it save and return him in the morning. Satan created greediness in Karmo and he started thinking of different ways of keeping the money. Karmo waited for the traveler to sleep. When he was sound sleep, Karmo strangled him & buried his body. He did this without making any sound so that no one would know about it.

Next morning Fazlo came well wishing him that Chand has returned home. Karmo asked where he was. Fazlo narrated that while he was fishing in the sea, a boat came across him. And the person riding in the boat was Chand. Chand told him that he was lost in the sea once, another boat heard Chand crying for help. They picked him up and dropped him in another town where he worked hard to collect money. He thought that if he goes back with lot of money, his parents would be very happy. Fazlo told him that his mother has passed way and his father was living alone in his house. Chand was advised to be patient and serve his father. Then Chand went to his home but can’t be seen. Karmo’s world had become dark. He started crying and then fainted; maybe for forever.
