Hazrat Sahib is a great scholar of Islam and so far about half a million people have embraced Islam through him. Following is an excerpt from his famous book “ Naseem-e-Hidayat ke Jhonkay” (Breeze of Guidance)

My Phone was ringing. When I picked the call, it was from my nephew Fuzail. ‘Uncle! Do you have some time? I want to talk to you. I replied, “Yes, sure!” Fuzail said, “Uncle! Hammad is very noble and modest as because of his efforts, first dad’s driver (Ashok) embraced Islam and then his school bus driver also joined the blessed Ummah of our Holy Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him] but despite my immense effort to convert the gate keeper of our neighboring building, I could not be successful. Today when I tried again to persuade him, he said, “You are right and your religion indeed is a true religion but if I take it up then I would need to abandon my family and all the relatives. I am feeling very embarrassed today and feel that all my efforts have gone wasted. I am not as good and noble as Hammad. Although the gatekeeper loves us but please pray for us that our tongues would also turn effective and then he turned silent although I could still hear his crying. After the call finished. I called my sister and asked her to send Fuzail to me. He arrived soon. I was quite excited to know his passion and zeal for Deen. I hugged him and asked him to continue praying for them as with the Allah’s Will, they would certainly bow to the Lord Almighty one day. Even all the people did not heed to our beloved Messenger’s [Peace be upon him] call but Fuzail was feeling too dejected and pissed off. He said, “Uncle! If that person died without faith then… he cried severely. Fuzail is three year older than Hammad. He is twelve only but considering preaching as his own responsibility, fills a twelve years old with the passion which was actually originated in the heart of our beloved Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him] when the Allah Almighty say  لَعَلَّکَ بٰخِعٌ نَّفْسَکَ اَلَّا یَکُوْنُوْا مُؤْمِنِیْنَ(الشعرا، 3)  [Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers.]

He starts self assessing himself that if a person died without faith then the person would have to burn in hell forever and that makes him restless that he starts thinking why his preaching has not been as effective as it should have been. Then he starts dedicating more time for worship and improves his state of mind. This is since Hadhrat Adamعلیہ السلام to this day, the history proves that inviting people to Islam brings the person closer to Allah. He starts worrying about his own purification and starts loving Allah’s creation. Then he learns the manner of preaching because preaching is a way of loving and is another name of restlessness for the sake of bringing other people to Allah. That zeal improves etiquettes of loving as a result of preaching.
