Blockade removed and marriage took place(By Hakeem MehtabHussainDehlvi)

This incident was narrated by one of my friends’ sister. I am writing it here in her words. She said,“I was only seven days old when my aunt also gave birth to a daughter. Though I was having a bit dark complexion but I was more attractive as compared to mycousin sisterthough she was having fairer complexion than me.Also I had a silent natured personality but she was very loud and expressive. Also even when grown up, she was fond of watching dramas and movies while I was a practicing religious zealous. One of my cousinbrotherfrom anotheruncle, who was senior to us by two yearshad passed Matric exams, got an admission in the college. As I mentioned that due to her fair skin, and hoydenishness, no one could ignore her. Once during summer vacation, we went to our uncle’s home, then she disturbed me during my prayer. After finishing the salat, I explained before her the etiquettes of prayer and told her the gravity of disturbing anyone during the prayer and further warned her that I would complain to auntie if she did it again. She had done so in ignorance as she was never warned about that. Now I had a routine to do my Dhikr routine after the Isha Salat and all the other people would watch TV then. Once my cousin brother asked me why I was always busy in doing Dhikr and what shall I get from salats. Upon this I relied him that I have been blessed something by the Almighty that if I utter those words, it starts raining. He took it as joke and went away.

Once, I asked a pious lady some dhikr for my own marriage and she recommended me a 40 days (compulsory)Amal and then asked me to continue it till the attainment of the purpose. The amal was as follows:

Perform 2 Rakahnafl after Isha. In the first rakah, after fateha, recite AyatulKursi7 timesand surah Quraish21 times. In the second rakah after fateha, AyatulKursi7 times and Surah Al Kausar 21 times. Then after having finished the navafil, 11 times DuroodIbrahimi and 1111 times  یَابَاسِطُ یَااَللہُ یَالَطِیْفُ  and then 11 times durood Ibrahim in the end. I was required to keep full concentration and be mindful about the purpose. As I was quite concerned about that so I started it instantly. Although in the beginning there were no signs for any suitable matches for me. After six months since I started it, I met the same cousin brother whom I had told about the specialwazeefah which when uttered bringsrain. He jokingly challenged me that he would render me as a Godly person if I do the Dhikr and it starts rain otherwise he would think that I was false in my claim. I had learnt that once some folks came to Hazrat Imam Husain رضى الله عنه and complained about the long periods of droughts and requested him to pray for rain. Upon this he رضى الله عنهasked them to return to their homes and offer two rakah and then continue reciting the 5thkalimah(Astaghfar). So they acted accordingly and Allah Almighty blessed them with plentiful rain. So I remembered that and when my cousin challenged me, I repeated the same trick. It was a very hot day and everything was burning due to the blazing sun. I performed two rakah of navafil and started uttering 5th kalimah. Now I was also afraid that if it didn’t rain then my dignity was at stake and it would also reduce the importance of Dhikr in my cousin’s viewtoo. Ihad spent nearly 50 minutes while doing that when I felt the cold breeze. I continued my Dhikr till it started hailingand raining with cats and dogs. After half an hour, my cousin returned to me and said that he had now acknowledged the effectiveness of my Dhikr and requested me to pray to Allah to stop that. I thanked the Almighty forHis Favour and prayed Him to make that rain as a blessing for all.

My cousin went back to his home and told all this to his mother (My auntie) about this incident. Three years after this incident, the same cousinasked his mother to marry him with my other cousin sister. My auntrefused him and said that she liked me only rather than my cousin sister. My cousin became so desperate that he even phoned my cousin sister and proposedher and asked her to convince her mother for that. My auntie had already convinced my uncle in my favour so they came to our home and asked for my hand. My mother offered them my cousin sister but they kept on insisting for my hand. Even my uncle and cousin sister also met them but to no avail. So I got my engagement with the same cousin and then married after two years. All my in-laws are very happy with me and especially my husband loves me very much.Such is the effect of this amal.
