Companion’s رضی اللہ عنھم of Prophet listening to the conversations of the buried.

Healing from ailments and pain.

It has been narrated by Hazrat Ali رضی اللہ عنہ  that I was ill and Prophet Muhammad passed by me. And I was saying that, "O Allah, if death has befallen me, then give me peace, and if it is late, then remove this sickness from Me." and if it is a trial then grant me patience. Prophet said how did you ask? I reiterated everything to him. He took his saliva and said O Allah, heal him, I did not find my disease after that. There is another tradition that the Holy Prophet () put saliva in my eye on the day of Khyber, and my eye was hurting and after that it stopped and it never happened again.

The Holy Prophet slide his hand over the broken leg and fixed it.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Atiq's leg was broken in the murder of Abu Rafi.  'He says, "I went to the Holy Prophet () and told him."He () said:  spread your feet, and I spread my feet. After that I didn't feel any pain.

Death of pious young man and lover woman in the period of Hazrat Omar رضی اللہ عنہ.

Yahya ibn  رضی اللہ عنہAyub al-Ghazai narrates that I have heard from a man who was saying that there was a young worshiper in the time of Hazrat Omar رضی اللہ عنہ . He used to stay in the mosque all the time. Hazrat Omar رضی اللہ عنہ used to be very surprised on him. His father was very old. When he offered Isha prayer, he used to go to his father and his passageway was in front of a woman's door. She fell in love with him and she used to stand in his way for him. One night the young man passed by her and she influenced him so much that he followed her when he reached the door and she entered the house. He remembered upon entering the door and left the door and this verse continued on his tongue. (ان الذین اتقوا اذا مسھم طائف من الشیطن تذکروا فاذاھم مبصرون) “Surely those who guard (against evil) when there is a threat to them, they get involved in the remembrance of Allah, so the eyes are instantly opened. Surah Al Araaf.

So the young man fell unconscious and she called out her slave girl. They helped each other in carrying him and brought him to his door. He sat down and knocked on his father's door, and his father came out and saw him unconscious. His father called some relatives. They picked him up and let him in. The young man did not regain consciousness until that part of the night was gone. He regained consciousness late at night. His father asked him, "How are you?" The young man said, "All right." The father said, "I ask in the name of God what happened? "The young man told his father the whole story. The father asked, "O my son, which verse did you recite?  He recited the same verse and fell unconscious. The people moved him but his soul had flown away. He was taken away after bathing and was buried in the night.

In the morning, this story was narrated to Hazrat Umar (رضی اللہ عنہ). He came to the father of the young man and consoled him about the boy and said, "Why did you not inform me? Said, “O Commander of the Faithful, it was night time.” Hazrat Umar (رضی اللہ عنہ) said, "Take me to his grave, then Hazrat Umar (رضی اللہ عنہ) and those who came with him went to the grave.Hazrat Umar رضی اللہ عنہ said (ولمن خاف مقام ربہ جنتن). For him who feared to stand before his Lord are two gardens. So the young man replied from inside the grave, O Omar, the Lord has given me those two gardens in paradise. And it is in a narration that (this voice came from inside the grave) Go to Hazrat Umar (رضی اللہ عنہ) and give him my greetings and ask him: What is the reward for the one who fears to stand before his Lord? And there is a narration that Hazrat Umar (رضی اللہ عنہ) stood on this grave and said: There are two gardens for you, there are two gardens for you.

Narrated by Muhammad ibn Hamid that Hazrat Omar رضی اللہ عنہ passed by Baqee Gharqad and said (السلام علیکم یا اھل القبور) Peace be upon you or the people of the graves! Our news is that your women have married and people have inhabited your homes. And your wealth has been divided.

So Hatif replied to Hazrat Omar رضی اللہ عنہ that we have the news of what we had done in life we have gained it. Whatever we spent it we have gained the reward for it. Whatever we had left has cost us deficit.
