Respected Hakeem Sahib Aslamalaikum! Trend of reading Ubqari magazine in my house is not so old, we are new readers. I found August magazine and while shuffling the pages I came across one article that motivated me to pick up my pen and write something as well. By profession I am a primary school teacher, it’s our bad luck that the writers we got only showed us one side of the coin but hide the other side.
Men are also ordered to lower their gaze!
Whenever there is a discussion of veil they only give reference of Quranic Ayah of one thing is “punishment is for those women who uncover themselves” it’s a strict warning. It’s a bad action etc etc. instead the complete thing is first the men are ordered to lower their gaze than women are ordered to cover their body. If any woman is uncovered somewhere it’s the fault of men, weakness in brought up by her father, shamelessness of her husband, carelessness and licentiousness of her brother and the lack of awareness in her son’s responsibilities have a lot to do in it. The writer wrote that “if the husband wants to come close to his wife and his wife refuses than there is a curse on that wife” and if the husband goes on bad ways while having a wife, will there be blessings on that husband?
Are such husbands princes of paradise, for GOD sake take care of your society
A bad eye on his wife’s sisters and her relatives or friends is such husband’s princes of the paradise? If the husband talks vulgar, abusively, treat his wife not more than a slave will any wife respect her husband’s wishes after ignoring all the above things. When there is bad smell of eating ghutka, tobacco smell, cigarettes smell and vulgar abuses will the wife’s heart move towards the husband? (1) in our street one girl got divorced from her husband after two years of marriage, when asked for the reason these were her words “at first my husband used to keep bad eye on my sisters and friends, used to say very vulgar and bad words about them, I used be very ashamed, but when he started to say bad things about my mother I could not bear it, is her husband a janti? (2) How a wife’s heart be clear of her husband when he does not respect his children’s wishes, mother can even fight GOD for her children, will such wife respect her husband’s wishes.
